Responsibility
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes following standardized recipes and special dietary requirements.
- Ensure all meals are presented attractively and served in a timely manner.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to minimize waste.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency.
- Adhere to portion control and cost management guidelines to optimize profitability.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques into daily operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Cook in a hotel, resort, or fine-dining restaurant.
- Proven ability to prepare a variety of cuisines, with a focus on Indonesian or international dishes.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
- Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with a passion for culinary excellence and presentation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a plus; Indonesian language skills are beneficial.
