Responsibility

  • Assist chefs and cooks in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning food items.
  • Support the kitchen team during service by ensuring timely and efficient food preparation and plating.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Operate kitchen equipment and tools safely and efficiently, following established protocols.
  • Receive and store food deliveries, ensuring proper inventory management and rotation of stock.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency in dish quality.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a kitchen or food preparation role (internships or training programs are a plus).
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (certification is a bonus).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 kg.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Passion for food and a desire to grow in the culinary industry.
  • Fluency in English is preferred; basic Indonesian is a plus.
