Responsibility
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff in daily food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Support inventory management by organizing and restocking kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in dish quality.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, checking for freshness and accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment (preferred but not required).
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new culinary techniques and procedures.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 kg.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Fluency in English or Bahasa Indonesia (additional languages are a plus).
