Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality tea, coffee, and other beverages according to Tealiveâs standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, blenders, and other barista equipment to ensure optimal performance and hygiene.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems with accuracy and efficiency.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new products, brewing techniques, and customer service best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the F&B industry (fresh graduates with a passion for coffee/tea are encouraged to apply).
- Strong knowledge of tea and coffee preparation, including brewing methods, flavor profiles, and presentation standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and remain calm under pressure.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
- Certification in food safety or barista training is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
