Responsibility
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure all food items are stored, handled, and prepared in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain efficient workflow during peak service hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in placing orders for kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the development of new menu items and seasonal specials.
- Follow portion control and waste management procedures to optimize cost efficiency.
- Provide support and guidance to junior kitchen staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in a professional kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
