Responsibility
- Prepare high-quality food items according to established menus and recipes.
- Perform rigorous quality checks on all ingredients upon delivery and before service.
- Operate and maintain various kitchen appliances and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist the Head Chef in inventory management and restocking supplies.
- Ensure timely and accurate food preparation to meet service demands.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen or restaurant environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and sanitation protocols.
- Proven ability to operate standard kitchen equipment (grills, ovens, fryers, etc.).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Culinary certificate or degree is a plus but not required if equivalent experience is demonstrated.
