Responsibility

  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes according to company standards and recipes.
  • Ensure consistent flavor, portion control, and presentation across all menu items.
  • Monitor and manage food costs, minimizing waste while maintaining quality.
  • Oversee inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and storing ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop seasonal or special menus.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to uphold service and culinary standards.
  • Address customer feedback promptly and adjust preparations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a professional kitchen (preferably in hospitality or catering).
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian cuisine and/or international culinary techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent palate and attention to detail in taste and presentation.
  • Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
  • Leadership skills to manage and inspire kitchen staff.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Certificate in Culinary Arts or related field is a plus.
