Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality tea, coffee, and other beverages according to Tealive’s standards and recipes.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, blenders, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly, professional, and efficient approach.
- Handle cash transactions, process orders, and manage the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking stock levels and reporting supply needs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista or in a similar role in the F&B industry (fresh graduates with passion are encouraged to apply).
- Strong knowledge of coffee and tea preparation techniques, including brewing methods and milk frothing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and stay composed under pressure.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory calculations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and shifts.
- Certification in food safety or barista training is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
