Responsibility
- Provide personalized vacation planning assistance to Japanese-speaking guests via phone, email, and in-person consultations.
- Recommend and book accommodations, tours, and activities tailored to guestsâ preferences and budgets.
- Resolve inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring a seamless experience from planning to checkout.
- Collaborate with resort teams to coordinate special requests, upgrades, or VIP services.
- Stay updated on Marriottâs portfolio of properties, promotions, and local attractions in Bali.
- Upsell premium packages, memberships, or exclusive experiences to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and bookings in CRM systems.
- Participate in training programs to refine product knowledge and service excellence.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese (written and verbal) is required; proficiency in English and/or Indonesian is a plus.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, hospitality, or sales (travel industry preferred).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a knack for building rapport and understanding guest needs.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Familiarity with booking systems, CRM tools, or Microsoft Office Suite.
- Passion for travel and cultural exchange, with knowledge of Baliâs tourism landscape.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelorâs degree in hospitality/tourism is advantageous.
