Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace, including the coffee bar, storage areas, and customer seating.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of food and beverage orders.
- Educate customers about different coffee beans, tea blends, and brewing methods to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking stock levels and reporting supply needs to the manager.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry (preferred but not required).
- Strong knowledge of coffee and tea preparation techniques, including espresso, pour-over, and cold brew.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory.
- Familiarity with POS systems and café equipment is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
