Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, and Korean-style signature recipes, adhering to brand standards.
- Operate and maintain café equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and blenders, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor, taking orders accurately and addressing inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in daily opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, inventory restocking, and cleaning duties.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a welcoming and organized café environment, including table setup, display arrangements, and hygiene standards.
- Upsell menu items, such as fresh pastries, snacks, and brunch options, to enhance customer satisfaction and sales.
- Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and communicate restocking needs to the manager.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new menu items, brewing techniques, and customer service best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting (fresh graduates with passion are welcome to apply).
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, milk steaming, and latte art (training provided for the right candidate).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by café operations.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 kg (e.g., coffee bean bags, milk crates).
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management is a plus.
