Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, pour-over, cold brew, and specialty drinks, adhering to exacting standards.
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences and recommend personalized coffee selections.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, and service areas to ensure a hygienic and efficient workspace.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Educate customers about different coffee origins, roasting methods, and brewing techniques to enhance their appreciation.
- Collaborate with the team to develop seasonal drink specials and promotional offerings.
- Operate cash registers, process payments, and handle transactions with accuracy and professionalism.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on industry trends, new equipment, and advanced barista skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista in a high-volume café, specialty coffee shop, or hospitality setting (minimum 1 year preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of coffee beans, roasting processes, and flavor profiles (a strong plus).
- Proficiency in operating espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Fluency in English (additional languages, especially Indonesian or Balinese, are advantageous).
- Creative mindset with a passion for latte art and innovative coffee presentations.
