Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with precision and consistency.
- Welcome and engage customers with a friendly, professional demeanor, ensuring a memorable experience.
- Assist in front-of-house operations, including order taking, cash handling, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
- Educate customers on our heritage bagel menu, ingredients, and pairing recommendations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor inventory levels for coffee, syrups, and bakery supplies, and communicate restocking needs.
- Uphold strict hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with local regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with diplomacy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a barista or in a front-of-house role within hospitality (cafés, bakeries, or restaurants).
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso machines, and milk texturing techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and stay composed under pressure.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations.
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management is a plus.
