Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages (espresso, latte, cappuccino, etc.) to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and hygiene.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations.
- Monitor and manage inventory of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and report stock levels to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing workspace, including the coffee station, counter, and customer areas.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation protocols to comply with local regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the team to develop seasonal or specialty drink menus and promote new offerings.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role in a café, restaurant, or hotel (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, milk steaming, and latte art.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and stay composed under pressure.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and cost control.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Fluency in English (additional languages, especially Indonesian, are a plus).
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
