Responsibility
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and guest facilities, to the highest standards.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces using approved chemicals and equipment.
- Monitor and restock supplies in public restrooms and common areas, ensuring they are fully operational and visually appealing at all times.
- Respond promptly to spills, stains, or other cleanliness issues in high-traffic areas to uphold safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless operations during peak hours.
- Follow strict health, safety, and sanitation protocols to comply with Marina Bay Sands’ and local regulatory standards.
- Report maintenance issues or damages in public areas to the supervisor for immediate resolution.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning initiatives as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles within hotels, resorts, or luxury establishments.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining immaculate cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 15 kg, and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with colleagues and supervisors.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Prior experience in a 5-star hotel or international hospitality brand is a plus.
