Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages (espresso, latte, cappuccino, etc.) to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and blenders, ensuring they are clean and functional.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Manage cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately, including handling mobile payments and cashier duties.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking stock levels and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and new menu items to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role in the hospitality industry (preferred but not required; training provided).
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about different brewing methods and coffee origins.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing daily sales reports.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., coffee bags, equipment).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling is a plus.
