Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to Zuspresso’s standards.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment with precision.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including taking orders, answering inquiries, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and reporting shortages to the manager.
- Ensure the café area, including counters, tables, and equipment, is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Process cash and digital payments accurately using POS systems and handle daily cash reconciliation.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during peak hours.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer-facing role is a plus (training provided for beginners).
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about brewing techniques, bean origins, and flavor profiles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings or late evenings as needed.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a commitment to teamwork and service excellence.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
