Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee and tea beverages, adhering to established recipes and standards.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and exceptional service.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and assist in restocking as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace, including the café counter, equipment, and customer areas.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
- Stay updated on the latest coffee trends, brewing techniques, and industry best practices.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, milk steaming, and latte art techniques.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
