Responsibility
- Prepare and cook Thai dishes according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and waste reduction.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food preparation during peak hours.
- Monitor food quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed.
- Follow portion control and plating guidelines to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.
- Adapt to menu changes and special requests while maintaining high standards.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume restaurant.
- Knowledge of Thai cuisine is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
