As a Cook Helper, you will assist our experienced chefs in food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. You will learn valuable culinary skills and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our customers. Responsibility
- Assist chefs in preparing ingredients and cooking meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support the kitchen team in receiving and storing food supplies.
- Help with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and marinating.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down kitchen stations before and after service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient food service.
- Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the head chef or kitchen manager.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior kitchen staff.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
