Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with precision and consistency.
- Educate guests on beverage options, ingredients, and pairing suggestions to enhance their experience.
- Upsell premium menu items, seasonal specials, and add-ons to drive revenue and guest satisfaction.
- Take and process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery during peak hours.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless operations and guest interactions.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista in a high-volume café, hotel, or resort (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing methods, and equipment (e.g., espresso machines, grinders).
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory tracking.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Certification in coffee making (e.g., SCA) or food safety is advantageous.
