Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, pour-over, cold brew, and specialty drinks, adhering to Brain Coffeeâs standards.
- Engage with customers warmly, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring a memorable experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace, including equipment, tools, and inventory.
- Educate customers about coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles to enhance their appreciation.
- Collaborate with the team to manage daily operations, including opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
- Monitor and restock supplies, such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and pastries, to ensure availability.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene protocols to comply with food service regulations.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new techniques, menu items, and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista (1+ years preferred) or a strong passion for coffee with a willingness to learn.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing methods, equipment (e.g., espresso machines, grinders), and milk steaming techniques.
- Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 kg.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
