Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, latte, cappuccino, and specialty drinks, following Bamboo Uâs standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and hygiene.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage cash transactions, process orders accurately, and handle payments using POS systems.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, and assist with restocking as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, seating areas, and storage spaces.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and customer preferences to enhance the coffee experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, milk steaming, and latte art techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations.
