Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, pour-over, and specialty drinks, adhering to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and ensuring a memorable experience.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including grinders, espresso machines, and brewers, ensuring they are clean and functional.
- Collaborate with the team to manage inventory, restock supplies, and maintain a well-organized workspace.
- Create visually appealing latte art and presentation to enhance the customer experience.
- Handle cash transactions and POS system operations accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new coffee trends, techniques, and menu offerings.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety in compliance with local regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry (preferred but not required).
- Passion for coffee and a strong desire to learn and improve craftsmanship.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing methods, equipment, and milk steaming techniques.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
