Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso, pour-over, and specialty drinks, adhering to Cafe Tutur’s high standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including grinders, espresso machines, and blenders, ensuring optimal performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation, including the coffee bar, storage areas, and customer seating.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for both staff and customers.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive and efficient workflow during peak hours.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and new menu items to enhance your expertise and service quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, milk steaming, and latte art techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and remain calm under pressure.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to continuously learn and improve.
- Fluency in English (additional knowledge of Indonesian is a plus).
