Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, adhering to standardized recipes and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain brewing equipment, grinders, and other café machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems, handling cash and digital payments with precision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace, including countertops, equipment, and storage areas, in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth café operations during peak hours and special events.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and new menu items to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, equipment, and beverage preparation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Certification in food safety or hygiene (e.g., HACCP) is a plus.
