Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
- Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with diplomacy and prompt resolution.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including menus, seating charts, and promotional materials.
- Assist with phone and online reservations, confirming details and updating systems accurately.
- Monitor guest flow and communicate wait times transparently to enhance the dining experience.
- Uphold Black Sand Bali’s service standards, including dress code, grooming, and professional conduct.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Host/Hostess, Server, or in a customer-facing role within hospitality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
- Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, SevenRooms) is advantageous.
- Passion for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a bonus.
