Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages (espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc.) to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including grinders, espresso machines, and blenders, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Uphold hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Assist in training new baristas and sharing best practices for coffee preparation and customer interaction.
- Contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere by maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing workspace.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista in a café, restaurant, or hotel (minimum 1 year preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of coffee brewing methods, milk steaming techniques, and latte art.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Passion for coffee culture and a willingness to stay updated on industry trends.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
