Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, latte, cappuccino, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and quality standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, and dining areas.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and report shortages to management.
- Educate customers about different coffee blends, brewing methods, and menu offerings.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately using POS systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso extraction and milk frothing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about new trends and techniques.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in barista training are a plus.
