Responsibility
- Provide impeccable table service during banquets, weddings, and corporate events, ensuring all guests are attended to with professionalism and warmth.
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in coordinating event setups, including table arrangements, place settings, and decor alignment with the event theme.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and elegantly, adhering to high standards of presentation and timing.
- Anticipate guest needs, proactively addressing requests and resolving any service issues with discretion and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless order delivery and maintain the flow of service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing dining area before, during, and after events.
- Uphold safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling of food, beverages, and equipment.
- Contribute to pre- and post-event briefings to ensure alignment with client expectations and event specifics.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a waiter in high-end restaurants, hotels, or event venues.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a guest-first mindset and a polished, professional demeanor.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of fine dining etiquette, including proper table service, wine service, and napkin folding.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/carry trays or equipment as needed.
- Prior experience in banquet or event service is highly advantageous.
