Responsibility
- Prepare and bake a wide range of bread, pastries, and desserts according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all baked goods are of the highest quality, with consistent taste, texture, and presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain adequate stock.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior bakers and kitchen staff.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of baked goods.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Ability to follow recipes and adapt them as needed.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
