Responsibility
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production equipment to minimize downtime and defects.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of manufacturing machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor production processes and conduct quality checks to adhere to strict industry standards.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and maintenance activities for compliance and auditing purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, quality assurance) to implement process improvements.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Assist in the setup and testing of new production equipment or systems.
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians or new team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Production Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical skills in troubleshooting PLC systems, CNC machines, or automated production lines.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, GMP, or other quality management systems (preferred for medical device manufacturing).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) for technical documentation and team communication.
- Willingness to work in shifts or flexible hours as required by production schedules.
