Responsibility
- Oversee daily plastic manufacturing operations to ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Monitor and optimize production workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity.
- Lead, train, and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery, equipment, and finished products to ensure compliance with industry and company standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, logistics, and maintenance, to resolve production issues and streamline processes.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
- Prepare and present production reports, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Drive initiatives for lean manufacturing, cost reduction, and sustainability within the production facility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within plastic manufacturing or a similar production environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control systems (e.g., ISO 9001), and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and drive performance.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing production challenges.
- Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
