Responsibility
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to production schedules.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and enforce quality control standards to ensure products meet company and industry specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, maintenance, and quality assurance, to optimize workflows and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, improve processes, and enhance overall productivity.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a safe and sustainable workplace.
- Analyze production data, identify trends, and propose actionable insights to drive operational excellence.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within manufacturing, production, or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing teams, improving processes, and achieving production targets.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with quality control standards (e.g., ISO, GMP) and health/safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Diploma or Bachelorās degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in using production management software, ERP systems, or Microsoft Office Suite.
