Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of production staff to ensure daily targets are achieved efficiently and on schedule.
- Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
- Enforce strict adherence to quality control standards, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., logistics, maintenance) to ensure seamless workflow and material availability.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, waste reduction, and labor efficiency.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation to maximize operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within manufacturing, production, or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing teams, improving processes, and meeting production targets.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing best practices, lean principles, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO, 5S).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and production schedules.
- Proficiency in using production management software or ERP systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in industrial environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
