Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily production operations to meet output targets, quality standards, and deadlines.
- Lead, train, and motivate production teams to ensure high productivity and a positive work environment.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in the production facility.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
- Conduct regular quality control checks and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., logistics, procurement) to align production schedules with supply chain demands.
- Prepare and present performance reports, including KPIs, to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks and proposing innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field. Diploma holders with extensive experience will also be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams effectively.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, and inventory management systems.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and production management software.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
