Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, and quality control measures.
- Optimize production schedules, resource allocation, and workflows to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Lead, mentor, and train production staff, fostering a high-performance culture and team collaboration.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams (e.g., logistics, procurement, maintenance) to resolve bottlenecks and streamline operations.
- Prepare and present performance reports, including KPIs, productivity metrics, and cost analysis, to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen, 5S) to enhance operational excellence and sustainability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Diploma with relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production supervision or manufacturing management role, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Proven track record of meeting production targets, improving efficiency, and reducing costs.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Proficiency in production planning software (e.g., ERP, MES) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, HACCP, or other industry-specific certifications is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
