Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the forming department to ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitor and record the movement of formers in and out of the store to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Verify inbound and outbound quantities posted by subordinates to prevent discrepancies.
- Conduct regular follow-ups on production targets, deadlines, and quality control standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate subordinate performance to enhance team productivity and efficiency.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, as well as standard operating procedures (SOPs) in the forming area.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve operational bottlenecks and improve workflow.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production metrics, inventory status, and team performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, production planning, and quality assurance processes.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
