Responsibility
- Oversee daily electroplating and plating operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of technicians and operators to maintain high productivity and quality output.
- Monitor and optimize plating processes, including chemical baths, equipment calibration, and waste management.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, improve workflows, and reduce downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records, including process logs, inventory levels, and performance metrics.
- Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) protocols in all plating activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electroplating, metal finishing, or plating operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of plating techniques, chemical processes, and surface treatment methodologies.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive work environment.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and environmental regulations (e.g., ISO 14001).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in high-precision manufacturing.
- Proficiency in using industry-specific software and tools for process monitoring and reporting.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
