In this role, you will be the backbone of our production floor, ensuring that our high-quality food products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with industry standards.
As our Production Supervisor, you will lead a diverse team of operators, oversee daily production schedules, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize output. Responsibility
- Supervise daily production activities to ensure operational targets are met on time and within quality specifications.
- Lead, mentor, and train production floor staff to improve productivity and morale.
- Enforce strict adherence to food safety, hygiene (HACCP/GMP), and workplace safety regulations (OSHA).
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with the maintenance team for timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Manage raw material inventory levels and minimize waste through efficient process control.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvement strategies.
- Prepare accurate daily production reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience within a food manufacturing or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and ISO food safety standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a multicultural production team.
- Proficiency in production planning software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot operational issues effectively.
- Ability to work on shifts and adapt to the dynamic demands of a food processing plant.
