Responsibility
- Oversee daily production floor operations to ensure output targets are met on time and within quality specifications.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise production team members, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and professional development.
- Monitor production metrics and KPIs to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen).
- Enforce strict compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations and internal company safety policies.
- Collaborate with maintenance and supply chain teams to ensure optimal machine uptime and inventory availability.
- Prepare accurate production reports for management, highlighting performance trends and potential areas for cost reduction.
- Manage shift scheduling and personnel deployment to maximize operational efficiency during peak demand periods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory capacity within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage diverse production teams in a high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP or Oracle).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts as required by the production schedule.
