In this pivotal role, you will be the heartbeat of our production floor, ensuring that our manufacturing processes run efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
As our Production Supervisor, you will lead a dedicated team of machine operators and production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for overseeing daily workflow, managing resource allocation, and troubleshooting production bottlenecks to ensure our targets are met consistently. Responsibility
- Oversee and coordinate daily production activities to ensure operational targets and delivery schedules are met.
- Supervise, mentor, and provide training to production staff to maintain high performance and safety standards.
- Monitor production output and quality metrics, implementing corrective actions when deviations occur.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to optimize production flow.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to reduce waste and increase throughput.
- Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the plastics industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse workforce.
- Proficiency in production planning and inventory control software.
- Solid understanding of ISO standards, 5S methodologies, and Lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work on shifts if required.
