Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure schedules and targets are achieved safely and on time.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production operators to maximize productivity and individual performance.
- Monitor production line efficiency and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and wastage.
- Ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all products meet internal and industry specifications.
- Manage shift handovers effectively, ensuring clear communication of operational status and maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate production records, shift logs, and inventory reports for management review.
- Identify process bottlenecks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall manufacturing efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a production supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production planning, lean manufacturing, and quality control processes.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams in a demanding environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and experienced with ERP/MRP software systems.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
- Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Willingness to work on a rotational shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
