Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor process control systems to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance with EMS and ISO standards.
- Lead Quality Assurance (QA) programs, including inspections, audits, and corrective action plans to maintain product excellence.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize workflows, reduce defects, and improve yield rates.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement preventive measures to mitigate risks.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for process control procedures, QA reports, and compliance records.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in process control, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Utilize data-driven methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations in all operational processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in process control, quality assurance, or manufacturing engineering, preferably in a metal products or EMS environment.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and EMS (Environmental Management Systems) standards.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram), and quality management software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with metal fabrication, machining, or precision engineering processes is an advantage.
