Responsibility
- Oversee and manage day-to-day project operations, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to develop and review project plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
- Prepare and present technical reports, progress updates, and risk assessments to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment, optimizing costs without compromising quality.
- Implement value engineering strategies to enhance project efficiency and sustainability.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and site personnel to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in construction or infrastructure development.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and other engineering software tools.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and sustainable construction practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Certification in PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar is a plus.
