Responsibility
- Develop and refine detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment using industry-standard software (e.g., WinQS, CostX).
- Conduct rehash estimates to validate and adjust initial projections based on design changes or market fluctuations.
- Perform material takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings with meticulous accuracy.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to align estimates with scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Analyze tender documents and prepare competitive bids for new projects.
- Monitor cost variances and provide proactive recommendations to control expenditures.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and present findings to stakeholders with clear, actionable insights.
- Stay updated on local material costs, labor rates, and regulatory changes in Bali and Indonesia.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on cost estimation and rehash analysis.
- Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., WinQS, CostX, PlanSwift) and BIM tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local building codes in Indonesia.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
