Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for optimizing production workflows? VA Masters is seeking a detail-oriented Production Planning Designer to join our dynamic team in Badung, Bali. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing our manufacturing efficiency, reducing lead times, and ensuring seamless logistics operations.
As a key member of our Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics division, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement production schedules that align with business goals. Your expertise will drive operational excellence, minimize waste, and maximize resource utilization—all while contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality products on time, every time.
This is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive hourly rate of $5–$8, along with the chance to work in one of Bali’s most vibrant regions. Whether you're based in Canggu, Ubud, or Denpasar, this role offers flexibility and growth in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Responsibility
- Develop and optimize production schedules to meet demand forecasts and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability and inventory management.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and propose process improvements.
- Design workflow layouts and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for efficient manufacturing operations.
- Coordinate with quality control to maintain product standards and compliance with industry regulations.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems to track production progress and generate performance reports.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to negotiate lead times and resolve delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing design.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across departments.
- Knowledge of lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with CAD software for layout design is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
