Responsibility
- Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of goods while optimizing resource allocation.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements for enhanced efficiency.
- Collaborate with department heads to align production plans with sales forecasts and customer demand.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production performance, highlighting key metrics and variances.
- Liaise with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
- Implement and maintain ERP or production management software to streamline planning processes.
- Assist in capacity planning and workforce scheduling to meet production targets.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar role in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables) and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational inefficiencies.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
