Responsibility
- Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of customer orders while optimizing resource utilization.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations, ensuring alignment with production demands.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to streamline operations and resolve any bottlenecks.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with sales and customer service teams to understand customer requirements and adjust production plans accordingly.
- Oversee the implementation of inventory control procedures and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
- Lead and mentor a team of planners and inventory specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present reports on production performance, inventory turnover, and other key metrics to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, inventory control, or a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using ERP systems and inventory management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing teams.
