Responsibility
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and operational goals.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless production flow.
- Monitor inventory levels and material requirements to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies for precision manufacturing.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to review product specifications and production feasibility.
- Prepare reports on production metrics, delays, and resource utilization for management review.
- Troubleshoot production issues and propose corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in production planning, preferably in precision manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control standards.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
